Ghazi is head of the commercial litigation practice at Ali Al Hosani Lawyers & Legal Consultants. He has extensive experience in litigating and trying cases in a wide variety of areas, with a special emphasis on the corporate litigation, maritime, international sale of goods and arbitration. Ghazi has tried more than 200 cases in Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Middle East and GCC Countries and has represented numerous companies and individuals in matters involving the financial services, general corporate industries and admiralty & maritime.

Experiences
Primarily his practice focuses on Commercial Litigation, Admiralty & Maritime Law and International Arbitration but he is a master of all trades. He acted in a large number of complex and high profile maritime and arbitration cases around the world. His experience includes arbitrations under the ICC, UNCITRAL, GAFTA, SIAC, HKIAC, KLRCA, SCC, and LCIA.
He has been the Legal Advisor for Bin Ham Petroline for advising, updating and following-up for a project with ADCO. He has also worked on a service petroleum contract of SHELL in association with the Iraqi Government.
International and coastal transportation of people and goods are the mainstay of Ghazi’s maritime practice. Ghazi has over three decades of legal experience to meet clients’ business needs. He advises on matters ranging from new vessels, environmental compliance and international security, to casualty response and dispute resolution.
His practice includes cases relating to admiralty matters, collision, pollution, cargo loss, salvage, sinking, fire, stranding, crew and passenger injury, labour problems, damage to fixed and floating objects, charter party disputes, operating problems, insurance coverage and litigation arising there from.
